On a desolate Washington back road, Constance Flynn picks up a teenage hitchhiker. Over breakfast at a local diner, their strange encounter spirals as the boy seems determined to alter Constance’s carefully laid plans. When he vanishes as mysteriously as he appeared, Constance discovers that the boundary between our world and another may transcend death—and some doors, once opened, can never be closed.

Shannon Denise Evans is a multidisciplinary creator whose work spans film, television, literature, theater, and music. As Founder of Storycraft Eleven, Shannon is focused on voyeuristic, character-driven stories where the ordinary and the extraordinary collide, and where human choices lead to supernatural consequences.
Her award-winning screenplay Better Angels has received 32 awards at festivals and fellowships internationally, including the ISA Fast Track Fellowship, Lady Filmmakers Festival, Fade In Screenwriting Fellowship, The Writers Lab, and the Berlin International Screenwriting Festival. Her short films The Black Door and All Cats Are Grey In The Dark, which she wrote and directed, have screened at multiple festivals and collectively received over 30 awards, nominations and honors.
Additional credits include the web series The Leveling, adapted from her published novel. Her third short, Signal—whose screenplay has received 12 awards, including Best Screenplay at Top Shorts and Best Short Script at the Big Apple Film Festival Women’s Spotlight Edition—is complete and heading into festival submissions.
Shannon is a member of the Writers Guild of America, SAG-AFTRA, The Dramatists Guild, and Actors’ Equity Association. She splits her time between Los Angeles and New York City and is mom to her super pup, Sir William Wallace.
